The bags we bring you are all individually and carefully hand woven and constructed using a very ancient, and nearly forgotten, Mayan technique of folding and the intricate weaving and sewing together of the candy wrapper or comic or newspaper off cuts and end of rolls from some selected manufacturer's who would other wise have dumped this otherwise waste product in to landfill in Mexico. We stress everything involved in the process is clean and unused, sorted carefully, and only the best is used in the final product.
The Artisan, with precise detail in the use and placement, will vary the colour's tints and hues, patterns and themes and styles, to bring together, slowly, (often over days) all the pieces of the formally waste designated products (up to 1500 individual pieces on some bags!) and transform them into an absolutely beautiful, elegant, individual, and definitely unique bag or wallet that will glamorize any outing or get together, from the beach , to the red carpet. You will soon be the center of some attention and envious looks!!! Inside and out they are all different from each other and you will own a signature piece.
